In the VETERANKA movement, we want the experience of war not to hinder Ukrainian women in self-development and a full, quality life. To achieve this, we regularly conduct diverse training sessions, aiming for each of us to become more professional, financially independent, and confident in ourselves and our abilities.
Since 2020, international institutions have supported our multifaceted training. With the support of UN Women and the Sweden Fund, VETERANKA conducted online training for organization participants. For example, there was a course on career guidance, and based on the results, we learned to work in areas such as
- project management,
- marketing,
- IT,
- English language,
- HR advice on finding oneself in the IT field,
- CV crafting training and succeeding in interviews,
- workshop on “Starting your sewing business: how to earn money from home”.
