Assistance to the Kherson region
The tragedy that happened in the Kherson region after the Russians blew up the dam brought a lot of grief to our country. But also, it showed how resilient we are and how we can support and fight for each other.
In the first days, VETERANKA received a huge amount of help from people from all over Ukraine – clothes, dishes, bedding, food products, medicines and hygiene products, feed and carriers for animals. And also donate almost a million hryvnias. Around the clock, our volunteers procured, prepackaged, packed and transported humanitarian aid to victims in the Kherson Region. In the first days, our mission already saved animals and helped victims in the flood zone, which we constantly reported to you in stories
On June 20, we went on the third humanitarian mission to Kherson Oblast and Mykolaiv Oblast together with the Hospitallers and Ray of Respect.
For this mission, we purchased and donated 100 food kits, 100 hygiene kits, 10 gas burners and 40 gas cylinders, a generator, bed linen, utensils and medicine.
We took and distributed aid to the point of invincibility, a hostel, a hospital in Kherson, as well as the flooded villages of Snigurivska and Bilozerska settlement communities.
Thank you to everyone who donated, sent us help and volunteered. Bright people are better seen in dark times.
