How to get through the loss of a loved one in the war?
We launched the Plan B Power Center project, initiated by Tetiana Borys, a member of the Veteranka movement, who lost her husband, a soldier at the 58th Motorised Brigade in February 2023.
This project is a set of approaches and measures to study the experience of getting through bereavement in the context of the Russian-Ukrainian war.
Its mission is to study the experience of getting through bereavement for conceptual changes in the approach to working with the families of fallen soldiers at all levels of government – local authorities, social and legal support. As a result, family members of the fallen soldiers will receive a guidebook for coping with loss, designed to facilitate their return to active social life, reintegration, support and recovery (psychological, medical, legal, and community support).
The project began with a briefing and presentation at the Ukrainian Crisis Center, which was attended by Tetiana Borys, the head of the Plan B Power Center project, the wife of a fallen serviceman, a member of the Veteranka Movement.
Yuliia Kirillova is a veteran, wife of a fallen serviceman, co-founder of the Veteranka movement, acting head of the UVF.
Anton Drobovych is head of the Ukrainian Institute of National Memory
Hanna Demydenko is a public figure, expert in the field of veteran affairs, advocacy manager of the Veteranka movement
