To Mark the 8th Anniversary of the VETERANKA Movement

8 years of the Movement.

During this time, we have come a long way — from a few dozen women fighting for recognition to a Movement that is changing the army, society, and the very perception of the role of women in war.

We opened doors where there were none, fought for laws that protect, preserved memory where people could have forgotten, and held on to one another where it was hardest.
