Ukraine Stay Connected

When war comes to your home, it always destroys connections - between loved ones, between your home, city, and country. Almost every Ukrainian today has close ones with whom the connection is lost or greatly complicated - some are in occupied territories, some defend their Homeland on the battlefield. Connection with loved ones is crucial for us because that's how we feel a part of something greater - family, country, nation. It's how we feel we have our own place in the world.

Similarly, this connection is crucial for our defenders - it literally becomes the foundation for survival. '++' in military language means 'all is well.' Often, it means 'I'm alive.'

We believe that for every Ukrainian, wherever they may be today, it's important not to lose the connection with loved ones. The connection with their roots. Just as our servicemen and women - to maintain the connection among themselves and with those waiting at home.

So that each of us, during the winter holidays, can feel connected to those we love and to our home, we are launching the 'Ukraine Stay Connected' flash mob fundraiser. To light up a support beacon on the world map, make a donation of any size to the designated bank account, PayPal, or any other convenient method to the official account of the Veteranka Charitable Foundation. In the payment notes, specify the name of your city or country, and in this city, a Ukrainian unity star will shine on the interactive map.

The fundraising goal is 2 million UAH for 26 portable radio stations and 15 car radio stations, and the technical support for them, for the 35th Separate Brigade of Marine Infantry named after Rear Admiral Mykhailo Ostrohradskyi.
