Demyanyk Lyudmyla (Katrusya Strila)

Board Member of the NGO "Women Veterans Movement."

Serving with distinction as a volunteer in the 5th Operational Battalion of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army and as a reserve officer in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, her defense journey started in August 2014. Her tenure was marked by a series of pivotal roles, from being the assistant to the battalion chief of staff to acting as a volunteer coordinator, highlighting her multifaceted leadership and adaptability in military operations.

Following her service in 2016, she transitioned into pivotal civilian leadership positions. She directed the coordination center of NGO "DiYa" and led the administrative department at the Main Headquarters of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army, applying her military acumen to bolster veterans' affairs and volunteer engagement.

Presently, she serves as a principal specialist within the analytical-calculation unit of the operational-coordination department at the Kyiv Rescue Service. In this capacity, she continues her dedication to public service, applying her strategic insight and operational expertise to enhance community safety and coordination efforts.
